Chief Deputy Sheriff Herbert Locke

Chief Deputy Sheriff Herbert Locke was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a man during a domestic disturbance.
He was trying to coax a man to come out of a closet who had threatened to shoot his wife when the man suddenly shot him. The man then shot and killed himself.
